Toyota Motor Corporation is the world’s largest automobile manufacturer (Sales-2010). Its most famous marquees are Toyota, Lexus and Scion. The Japan-based company became the world’s largest automotive company in 2008 and is continuing its leadership position since then. The company is recovering from the Japan crisis and expects to be back to 100 percent -level of production by November this year. Its most famous cars are Camry, Prius, City and the recently unveiled Etios in the Asian market. The company is known for manufacturing fuel-efficient cars through its efficient manufacturing techniques and also for its focussed segmentation and positioning in the countries in which it operates throughout the world.

In 2010, the company derived xx percent of its revenues from Asia and xx percent from North America (NA).
